Leverage high-fidelity flow simulations to improve the aerodynamic, acoustics and thermal performance of aircraft engine designs while reducing physical tests
Complement verification with aerodynamics, thermal and acoustics multiphysics simulation capability to converge to optimal design; Simulation of engine bypass area for mixing, acoustics, aerodynamic and ingestion problems; Assess the overall performance of the engine predicted at the component level for given operating points and for operation cycles; Reduce expensive and practically challenging physical tests by validating the full operation range for complex rotating machinery systems with high fidelity simulations, from blade level to entire module level (compressor, turbine, fan) as well as partial system level.
