Co-Design Target
Design and predict behavior of the Landing Gear System such as control laws, actuators and sensors for a flexible Mechanical System
- Define the landing geometry and positions based on aircraft configuration requirements and validate motion
- Define landing gear deployment linkage layout and track shape by kinematic design such as retraction speed profiles, wheel dimensions, cable/hose validation
- Determine loads acting on linkages due to virtual drop test
- Perform dynamic system behavior studies including retraction, deployment, locks and hydraulic system failure modes, vibrations, wind tests and taxi scenarios
- Optimize Loops between the different parameters including functional driven generative design for loads and weight
