Electrical Engineering enables electrical systems engineers to define, simulate, analyze and validate the design of integrated electrical systems for an entire ship or offshore platform. They can easily define and modify specification-driven 2D schematic diagrams for the different systems needed.
These are then used to drive the equipment arrangement and 3D cable way layout. Electrical engineers can efficiently capture and reserve space to alleviate conflicts with other engineering disciplines during downstream processes, thereby avoiding costly reworks and delays.
